ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL SUPPORT

Deliverables

Assistant Principals are critical people on our leadership teams, however they experiences administration differently than head principals. In these sessions, participants will gain unique support through specialized learning in effective communication, human resources, curriculum and professional planning. They will exit each session with a new set of skills, a refreshed mindset and collaborative relationships with other assistant principals in the district.

Background

One of Patty Corum’s most significant experiences in “being #2” is when she served as Deputy Superintendent in Fort Zumwalt School District. Just like Assistant Principals, the role is different than being the top administrator, and begs for certain navigational skills. Practice helps and support from others is central to success. Working with assistant superintendents and assistant principals during the last 30+ years has given the team practical knowledge and resources to help assistant principals survive and succeed!
