This session is focused on meaningful connections through effective communication, especially in difficult situations. Then, hear easy to use, practical strategies which will change your communication and relationships with others for the better! Watch a long-time educational leader demonstrate effective communication in the most difficult situations.
Effective Leadership Starting with Me
Learn about the most important leadership principles including “writing your own story,” “controlling the controllabe” and “communicating with listening, care and clarity.” In this session, participants will engage in excercises that lead to more confidence, better leadership and a calmer, more productive you!
Who Takes Care of You . . . while you are taking care of everyone else?
School business is not easy, and it is imparitive that we take care of ourselves through it all. In this entertaining, engaging and fun session, participants will be challenged to consider and utlize the “Top 10 Ways to Take Care of Yourself While You are Taking Care of Everyone Else.” Don’t worry - it’s not about eating more avacados and drinking more water; it’s much more creative and includes how we THINK about ouselves, our stories, our work and those people around us!

This is a cross between a keynote and a training session. Participants will walk away with specific skills and strategies for more meaningful communication, connections and leadership. Participants will have the opportunity to watch real-time role-plays of some of the most difficult situations they encounter as educational leaders. In this three-hour period, we will hit the most important highlights of the on-going training module, Messy to Meaningful, Starting with Me.

In a series of sessions, we will learn basic effective communication strategies, discuss the most difficult scenarios we face, practice our skills and watch meaningful role-play from an experienced educational leader. Administrators will participate in many unique self-awareness excercises which will help them realize a sense of confidence and calm during messy situations. Each session will provide critical and unique learning opportunities to self-reflect, learn to build confidence, consider how to build trust, practice strategies and transform your leadership.
